review: A spacious one-bedroom family apartment made for a comfortable stay, enhanced by a well-equipped kitchenette. While the cleanliness was generally decent, some appliances were outdated, which slightly impacted the experience. There were also noise concerns from neighboring rooms that might disrupt light sleepers. , rating: 7, date of stay: 2024-03-15}

Appreciated my pleasant stay as first visit. The location was comfortable and really handy in a pretty quiet area, really close to the centre, the airport on time, and Christchurch to long. Bealey Avenue district was worth visiting. The staff was very very helpful and amicable...

The clean, well-maintained rooms were perfect for our family, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. With the Cardboard Cathedral and Victoria Square just a short walk away, we enjoyed quality family time exploring nearby landmarks. The on-site laundromat was convenient, especially with a baby, and the overall atmosphere provided a cozy and relaxing getaway.

Very clean and tidy
Struggled with bed and pillows, which is personal I know. Did notice bathrom sink took along time to clear and wardrobe handle fell off in my hand. Quick fix jobs and pretty spot on, yay.

Lovely retreat, I didn't want to say goodbye.
Location: the hotel was just next door to a supermarket and the like, and city centre and hagley park. I randomly popped in Circa Coffee and Wares serving some pastries, located at a medium distance from the property, it was nice...

Lovely Stay with Great Location
I was eager to visit Victoria Square during my trip, as I had heard so much about its beauty and significance. Choosing the Bealey was an excellent decision since it was just a short walk to the square. I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary Wi-Fi, which made it easy to share my adventures with friends back home. The continental breakfast options were good;
Limited shopping options nearby.

Spacious and very clean
Booked because they advertised free airport transfer but then advised don't do them anymore. Also said that shuttle would cost $8-10 but actually cost $24 so a bit misleading.

It was really nice stay, I greatly enjoyed fine food.
Everything was good, the room was new-fashioned and functional with The kitchen and a really comfy bed, as example. The location was good, a 10-15 minute walking distance from Stay.

The bathroom reeked and the manager barged in at 10 AM while I was still there, insisting I leave. It felt so rude, and honestly, it ruined my entire experience.

I was having problems connecting to tours within the city because of the relocation of pick up points as a result of the earthquake. I did not have a vehicle and was relying on shuttle buses and taxis which proved to be unreliable. The hotel manager - I think his name was Andy, was extremely helpful, even offering to drive me into town when the taxi was late for a connection. Andy was extemely helpful, making phone calls for me and recommending day trips when I missed a tour because I missed a connection. He was more knowledgable of the city and surrounds than the taxi drivers. The service and assistance provided was excellent and I would definitely recommend staying there.

The facilities like kitchenette, bathroom fixtures. The location was good - easy walk to places of interest.
Checkin services - the office closed very early in the evening and we had to go looking for the reception clerk. It will be good if more information is provided on the website regarding airport pickup and drop facilities.
